Guildzilla was created by a guild master, details and specifications were created with a guilds needs in mind. Guildzilla is built exclusively for World of Warcraft, giving us the freedom to fully integrate as much of the game as possible. How do I know your not just trying to steal my account information?
On both the signup form on this site, and the one on your guild website we say NOT to enter your game account password. The best protection for your account is not sharing, and Blizzard says it time after time not to submit your account information at a website other then theres. If you are still concerned about your account we suggest you invest a few bucks into the
account authenticator sold by Blizzard. Guildzilla is not interested in your game account, we are interested in your business and satisfaction with the guild site you setup on our system.

Guild Site Questions
My Account

I forgot my password or my email, can you help me?
If you forgot your password but remember your email you can retrieve it using the link on the login page for your guild website. If you are not having luck with this tool, or can't remember your email address contact us and we will try to help you out.

How many character's can I add?
You can have up to 10 characters on one account, this is the same number of characters that the game will let you have on a single server.

How do I set my main character?
Visit your My Characters page, click the thumbs-up icon next to the character you wish to make your main, the thumbs-up icon will turn into a start once it's set and whenever you login you will automatically be logged in on your main character.

My old guild name appears on the forums whenever I make a post, how do I fix this?
You need to update your character's armory data, visit the My Characters page and click the Warcraft Icon next to the character you wish to update.

I don't have access to a feature on our website but others do, now what?
First make sure your guild site admin has ranked your character, then make sure they have enabled the permissions for your rank. If you are still having trouble contact us and we can take a look to help evaluate the problem.

How do I change my E-mail address?
Once logged in visit the My Account page to update your email address and other settings.

Guild News

How do I add, remove, update guild news?
Login to your Guild Website, if you have the permission you will see a link labeled 'Add News' at the top right of your news, click this to show the form for adding guild news. To edit and delete news hover over the news, the icons for Edit and Delete will appear at the top right of the news post, click the icon to perform the required action.

How do I post comments on guild news?
Under the Guild News message, and under any current comments will be a link labeled 'Post a Comment', click this and enter your comment into the box, then click add. You must be logged in and have access to post comments to see this.

Can I customize the stuff on the right side of the news page?
Yes, we call these Applications, visit your Guild Admin > Applications section to modify the list of applications shown on your guild website.
Forums

My forum posts show my old guild under my avatar, how do I fix this?
This is because you need to update your character info, visit the My Characters section and click the warcraft icon next to the character this is happening to.

How come our guild name shows up under our avatars, as if we were in another guild?
This will show up if the spelling of your guild name is incorrect in the Guild Admin.

We don't like the class coloring, can we change this?
Premium guilds have the ability to customize the forum threads, this includes the coloring, avatars and signatures. If your guild is premium you can visit the Guild Admin > Forums > Customization section to customize these details.

How do I lock a forum topic?
To lock a forum topic, preventing anyone from replying to it click the lock icon at the top right of the first post. You must have this permission enabled for your rank to see this option.

What is a sticky thread?
A sticky thread is simply a conveince mechanic. Making a thread sticky will stick it at the top of your forum thread list for as long as it is marked sticky. Important announcements and frequently visited threads should be marked as stickys.

How do I add, remove, and edit the current list of forums?
Login to your Guild Admin and visit the Forums section, you can add new forums, forum categories, edit and delete current forums.

Some of our guild members can not view one or more of our forums, what is wrong?
This is because you need to enable their rank for view access on the forums, this is done on the Guild Admin > Forums > Edit pages. This must be adjusted whenever you add new ranks to your guild site.

How do I turn on Custom Avatars and Forum Signatures?
Visit the Guild Admin > Forums > Customization section and you will see the options to enable these features. Your guild must be premium to take use of these features.
Calendar

How do I add an event to the calendar?
Click on the day for the event, a window will appear, at the top left of it is an option to create a New Event, click this to show the form. This button will only appear if you have the permission to add calendar events.

How do I confirm/standby people on an event?
You must be the even creator, the calendar master, the guild admin or a co-webmasetr to adjust status modes for players on an event. To do so click on the status , a little window will appear where you can select that persons status for the event.

Can I lock an event, to prevent people from signing up after a certain point in time?
Yes, but this has to be triggered manually. At the top of the event window you will see a small link to Lock the event, clicking this prevent anyone from adjusting their status for the event.

How do we enable calendar roles?
Raid roles are a premium feature, once your guild is premium this feature will automatically be enabled, and your members will be able to select their roles from the top right of the main calendar window.
Progression

How does the progression data update?
The boss kills, and achievements must be updated manually. To adjust your progression/kills click the 'Adjust' link at the top right of the page, then click the checkboxes next to each of the completed criteria. When you are finished click the Done Adjusting link at the top right.

Our Rankings data isn't loading, what is wrong?
This is usually the result of your guild being mis-spelled on the Guild Admin > Settings page. If you are still having trouble please contact us.

How often does the rankings data update?
The rankings data will update whenever wowprogress updates their data. To update your data simply visiting the rankings page on your site, if the saved data is expired (older then a day old) new data will be fetched automatically.
Raid Loot

Can you integrate support for our Loot System add-on?
If your Loot System supports exporting data we can integrate it into our system. Contact us and we will follow up with details.

How do we add loot received to the loot history page?
If you have the permission to do so you will see a drop down list with all the characters in the guild, and a text box, select the player, and enter in the name of the item and hit the search button. This will fetch a list of all available items that match your search word from wowhead.com, select the appropriate item to add it to your log.

Our data isn't loading properly on the Loot System page, what now?
Make sure have the correct add-on selected, and make sure you are using the version specified on the Configure page. If all this is correct make sure you copied the right data from the addon, also make sure you copy it all, with some add-ons it's easy to miss a few characters at the end or start of the export string. If problems still occur please contact us.
Recruitment

How do we specify which classes/specs we are recruiting?
Visit the Recruitment main page, then click Edit Settings, select the option to specify classes and specs, then select the class/spec combos your guild is currently recruiting.

How do we show what class/specs we are recruiting on our home page?
This is an application, to install it visit the Guild Admin > Applications section.

Do recruits need to create an account?
Yes, this is an important step as this is how they will be able to check the status of applications, answer additional questions, and if accepted, they are already signed up and ready to use your site.

Do recruits in the application process require a guild rank?
No, you can leave them unranked until you decide what to do with them. However if you wish to get rid of the notice that you have members require ranking you will need to rank them, we suggest a Guest type rank, that is not shown on the roster, and has very limited if any permissions.

Can the applicant see the comments posted on their application?
No, these are intended for current guild members to discuss the potential of this recruit. Even if accepted into the guild, they will not be able to view their own application.

Can we ask additional questions after someone has already submitted an application?
Yes, we have a special tool for this right on the persons application. They will receive an email notification that they have a pending question when you or one of your guildies submits one.

How do I create my recruitment application questions?
Visit the Recruitment section then click Application Builder. You must have access to this tool to see the link. Follow the instructions on this page to setup your guild's recruitment application.

I noticed on the Recruiting Guild Finder tool that it shows our raid time, where do I adjust this?
This is an estimate that comes from the data gathered on your site's event calendar for the previous month.
Galleries

How do I upload a screenshot or picture to our guild website?
Visit the galleries section, select Pictures section from the top, select a folder, then click the upload button.

How do we add the slide show on our homepage?
This is an application visit the Guild Admin > Applications and select the slide show application.

What is the Website Files section?
This is a section that is limited to who can access it, this is for uploading various images you plan on using on the site, but don't necessarily want being viewable in the galleries section.
Chatroom

Are the conversations in the chat room log saved anywhere?
No, conversations are automatically removed from the system shortly after being sent to everyone currently in the chat room.

Is the chat room private?
No data is saved, and only people logged in with a character can access the chat room. Only people in the chat room can see the conversation.
Roster
-
I created our guild website, and the roster says I am the Guild Master, even though I am not, how do I fix this?
Easy fix. Login to your Guild Admin, and goto the Ranks > Specialty Ranks. On this page you can select who your guild's Guild Master is.

How do I hide a rank from showing on our roster?
Visit the Guild Admin > Ranks page and deselect the checkbox next to the rank. This will disable it from showing on the roster page, and birthdays from members in this rank will not be announced.

How do I see someones profile?
Click on their avatar/icon or name from any page on your guild website to see their profile. You can also click their avatar/icon on the roster page to access their profiles.

How do I send someon a profile gift?
Visit that person's profile, click Gifts, then click the Send Gift link. Select your gift, attach your message and send it away.

What is this profile wall all about?
This is a place for you to post comments about the person. You can also post on your own wall, and others can reply to it.
Custom Pages / Guild Information

I don't understand what this section is for, can you expalin?
This section is for those needing a little extra room for important messages, guild information related pages (like voice server info), guild rules, strats, macros, required addons. Basically a spot for you to create custom pages about virutally anything. These pages can be linked from anywhere on your site.
Recipes

Can I let my guild members mark off their own recipes so I don't have to do it?
Yes, in the Guild Admin > Permissions > Custom Pages section you will find the permission to enable a rank to mark off their own recipes on this page.

How do I remove someone marked on a recipe?
Click the Adjust Recipes link, then click on their name, a prompt will ask you if you are sure you want to remove this person from the recipe, clicking yes/ok/continue will confirm the deletion and process the removal.
Other

How do I do those cool item information windows that show when you mouse over the link?
Simply create a link to any end page on wowhead. End page being an actual item, achievement, spell, quest page. The link will automatically show the associated tooltip when moused over. You can add these links to any page on your guild site.

How do I get rid of advertisements on my guild website?
Advertisements can be removed by upgrading your guild's website to
premium status.

How do I change my subdomain?
We offer a
premium service to change your subdomain.

How do I delete my guild website?
You will need to delete all members on your site, then within 30 days of inactivity your site will automatically be removed, if your site is still in a premium period it will not be removed until your premium expires.
Guild Admin Questions

How do I access the guild admin?
Login to your guild website, at the top of the page under your character icon you will see a link labeled Guild Admin, clicking this will take you into your site's guild admin.

Can I give someone else access to the guild admin?
Yes, visit the Guild Admin > Ranks > Specialy Ranks page and select this person from the co-webmaster section.

How do I add a guild rank?
Visit the Guild Admin > Ranks page to add/remove/rename/reorder your guild ranks. Follow the instructions on this page for additional information.

How do I change our layout?
Visit the Guild Admin > Customize section to change your layout.

How do I promote/demote a member on the roster?
Visit the Guild Admin > Members section, find the member, then select their new rank from the drop down to the right of their name.

How do I remove a member from our guild site?
Visit the Guild Admin > Members section, find the member, then click the trash can icon to the right of their name.

I adjusted permissions but members still can't access some of the forums, what is wrong?
Visit the Guild Admin > Forums section and click through each of the forum's edit links, make sure your View Access ranks are correct on the popup that appears.

How do I setup our guild website on it's own domain name?
Visit the Guild Admin > Settings > Custom Domain section for details on how to setup and use your own custom domain name.

Our guild is a 10-man guild, how do we enable this mode?
Visit the Guild Admin > Settings section to enable 10-man mode.

Premium Questions

What is Premium, how do I get it?
Premium is our paid upgrade service for your guild websites. Upgrading to premium unlocks all of the features, removes all limits, and enhances the overall experience for you, your guildies, and your visitors. Visit the
premium guild account page to get started.

Who can upgrade our guild website to premium?
Anyone can, there is no restrictions on who can upgrade your guild's site to premium.

Do I need a Paypal Account to order premium services?
No, an account is not needed, we still use Paypal as our payment processor, on the page that asks you to login you should see an option to pay without an account using a credit card. This option will only appear for our one-time services. Subscriptions will require a PayPal account.

I don't like subscriptions, is there an alternative option for me?
Yes! We offer one-time payment options for our premium guild account as an altenrative to the subscription method. To use the one-time payment option select it from the Payment Type drop down on the upgrade page.

Can I try out premium before paying to upgrade?
Yes, every guild gets a one-time free trial, to activate it login to your Guild Admin, at the top of your summary page you will see an option to enable your premium free trial. Free trial option will only appear if your site is not already premium, and you haven't used the free trial yet.

How do I cancel my premium membership?
Since we use PayPal for our transactions you will need to login to PayPal and cancel your subscription from there. Our servers will receive a notice when you cancel, and when your time expires we will automatically revert your guild website back to free mode.
